[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongwook Park] Gyeongju City, Gyeongsangbuk-do announced on the 1st that Hwain System Co., Ltd., located in Daegu, has donated 5 million KRW in talent development scholarships to the Gyeongju City Scholarship Foundation Supporters Committee, following the 1 million KRW scholarship for families with multiple children in February.
Hwain System, established in February 1998, is an electronics manufacturing company headquartered in Suseong-gu, Daegu, engaged in the installation, production, supply, and construction of distribution panels and electrical automatic control systems. CEO Kwon Hak-cheol, a native of the Gyeongju area, expressed, "I decided to donate the scholarship to contribute to scholarship projects for local students and to enhance educational competitiveness."
Joo Nak-young, Chairman of the Gyeongju City Scholarship Foundation (Mayor of Gyeongju), said, "We will use the donated scholarship funds carefully for talented individuals from financially disadvantaged families," and expressed gratitude, asking for continued interest and support in nurturing local talent.
