This event allows participation by writing a comment praising a person after hashtagging (#) the person to be complimented. Thirty people selected by a draw will receive coffee gift certificates.
Previously, Gyeongju City communicated with citizens through compliments in the first round of the compliment relay SNS event. According to the city, SNS will be actively used not only for compliment events but also for communication with citizens.
Park Won-cheol, Public Relations Officer, said, "As the saying goes, 'Compliments make even whales dance,' in this era centered on communication, we hope that a wave of compliments will ripple through our calm society through easy event participation using SNS," and asked for active participation.
Meanwhile, Gyeongju City is being recognized for quickly informing major policies, tourism, and lifestyle information through SNS (Facebook, Instagram, blog, YouTube, etc.) and realizing sincere communication with citizens.
