Jeonbuk Education Policy Research Institute, Education Policy Forum on the 9th at Korea Traditional Culture Center
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] The Jeonbuk Education Policy Research Institute is preparing a forum to explore changes in school education due to online school openings and future development plans.
On the 1st, the Policy Research Institute announced that the '14th Jeonbuk Education Policy Forum' will be held on the 9th at the Korean Traditional Culture Center.
Under the theme "Imagining School Changes and Future Education through Online School Openings," this forum will be filled with discussions on school education measures responding to social changes and the demands of the times.
On the day, Professor Kim Doo-hwan of the Sociology Department at Duksung Women's University will present on the topic "Future Education Directions Seen Through Social Transition."
Designated discussants include Teacher Kim Hee-jung from Sunchang Elementary School and student Ahn Ji-yeon from Jeonbuk Foreign Language High School, with moderator Jeong Tae-sik, vice principal of Iri Buk Elementary School. Additionally, a free discussion session involving the presenter, panelists, and audience will be held.
Due to social distancing practices, attendance will be limited to under 100 people, but the event can be viewed live online on the day via the YouTube channel 'Jeonbuk Education Office.'
Director Kim Jeong-gi said, "This will be a time to examine changes in schools due to online school openings and share opinions among educational stakeholders in preparation for future education," adding, "We ask for the interest and participation of the educational community."
