[Asia Economy Reporter Yujin Cho] BYC, a leading domestic underwear specialist company, announced on the 1st that its Indonesian factory has obtained the international standard certification for quality management systems, 'ISO 9001.'
ISO 9001 is a quality management system standard established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), which evaluates and certifies quality management systems involved in the production and supply of products.
BYC first entered Indonesia in February 2012. The production items include running wear, panties, year-round innerwear, and basic products, with about 700 employees producing products through 27 sewing lines.
Currently, the Indonesian factory is conducting integrated production processes from fabric knitting to finished product packaging. Through this certification, BYC has proven the excellence of its innerwear manufacturing and once again practiced the spirit of quality-first by building trust with customers by providing high-quality products.
Meanwhile, since its establishment in 1946, BYC has led the domestic innerwear industry for 74 years and gained trust from many consumers. Recently, it has been building a new image by producing functional athleisure easywear targeting the younger generation.
In addition to product development, BYC actively continues communication with consumers of various age groups based on diverse marketing and promotional campaigns.
A BYC representative stated, "BYC has proven the excellence of innerwear manufacturing through international standardization," and added, "We will continue to maintain quality-first as a leading domestic underwear company."
