[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Daemyung Sono Season, an affiliate of Daemyung Sono Group, announced on the 1st that it has appointed Kim Beom-cheol, Vice President of Daemyung Sono, as its new CEO.
Accordingly, the existing CEO system under Kim Jeong-hoon will be reorganized into a dual CEO system with Kim Beom-cheol and Kim Jeong-hoon serving as co-CEOs. The new CEO Kim will focus on strengthening and operating new businesses, while CEO Kim Jeong-hoon will be responsible for coordinating group-related business operations.
New CEO Kim contributed to enhancing corporate competitiveness through his previous roles as CFO of Woongjin Energy and at Hyundai Group’s Strategic Planning Headquarters, before becoming Vice President of Daemyung Sono.
Daemyung Sono Season is in charge of the group’s Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) materials and the distribution store "Good & Goods" within its resorts. Additionally, it is focusing its capabilities on the rental business, a new growth engine. The company plans to introduce a customer experience-centered rental service based on top-quality mattresses and bedding products.
A Daemyung Sono Season official expressed expectations that "through CEO Kim’s business operation expertise, the company’s structure will improve and the development of the new rental business will accelerate."
