Cadillac Donates Safety Warning Lights for Fire Truck Installation

[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Cadillac announced on the 1st that it donated a set of upright safety warning lights installed on emergency response fire trucks to the Cheongju Seobu Fire Station through the Korea Firefighters Association as part of the 'Cadillac X Hero' campaign for firefighters.

The 'Cadillac X Hero' campaign began in November last year with the awareness of the poor treatment of some firefighters in Korea and aims to fulfill corporate social responsibility through raising awareness and providing practical support.

The upright safety warning light set donated this time was specially produced using the proceeds from the sale of campaign-related goods so far. The donated items, consisting of bidirectional guide lights and upright safety warning lights, send intuitive signals to help citizens move more safely around fire trucks during urgent fire site dispatches, reducing the inconvenience for firefighters who have to directly manage the surroundings.

A total of two specially produced upright safety warning light sets were delivered to the Cheongju Seobu Fire Station located in Heungdeok-gu, Cheongju City, Chungcheongbuk-do through the Korea Firefighters Association and were installed on large fire trucks that frequently respond to emergencies.

In addition, Cadillac expressed gratitude for the heroic efforts of firefighters by delivering framed messages of support from the public and a collection of works from a children's drawing contest held under the theme 'Our Hero, The Image of Firefighters I Think Of,' and plans to expand the scope of social contribution activities through various future initiatives.
