[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Hanwha Techwin, the No. 1 video security company in Korea, is expanding its video security business by partnering with Innodep, a specialized video management system (VMS) company, applying advanced artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
On the 1st, the two companies announced that they signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the development of a smart search service for video surveillance AI cameras at Hanwha Techwin’s headquarters in Pangyo, Gyeonggi Province, with executives including Hanwha Techwin CEO An Soon-hong and Innodep CEO Lee Sung-jin in attendance.
To this end, they agreed to cooperate in ▲establishing inter-product linkage systems ▲supporting technology development and training ▲carrying out and supporting sales and marketing activities. Through this agreement, Hanwha Techwin will establish a sales base for AI cameras in the public sector together with Innodep, the No. 1 company in the domestic local government VMS market, and Innodep will be able to build an excellent security system using Hanwha Techwin’s cutting-edge AI network cameras.
Meanwhile, Hanwha Techwin is a global security company that owns all solutions related to video security, including cameras, storage devices, and software.
It possesses world-class advanced video security solutions, including AI network cameras.
