Namhae Expressway Suncheon Direction Jinyeong Gas Station 'Hand Sanitizer and Disinfectant' Gift Event

An employee at Jinyeong Gas Station in the Suncheon direction is giving a hand sanitizer to a customer as a gift.

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Young-wook] The Jinyeong Gas Station on the Namhae Expressway in the Suncheon direction, operated by Korea Expressway Corporation Busan-Gyeongnam Headquarters, announced on the 31st that it held an event distributing portable hand sanitizers and disinfectants for free to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

The gas station employees, in conjunction with the Family Month event, handed out gifts one by one to customers who visited the gas station during the last weekdays, urging them to practice 'social distancing in daily life.' Since February, this gas station has been making efforts to prevent COVID-19 by attaching antibacterial films to the self-service fuel pump handles, entrance doors, and restroom doors, and disinfecting more than twice daily.

A gas station official said, "Although the number of outing vehicles has significantly decreased due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, we will do our best to ensure that customers can use the fueling facilities safely and comfortably under any circumstances."
