[New Release] Yong's Leadership

[New Release] Yong's Leadership

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Byung-hee] Qin Shi Huang, Liu Bang, Genghis Khan, King Sejong, Yi Sun-sin, Tokugawa Ieyasu.

These are the leaders who became dragons mentioned by the author of "Dragon Leadership." There are also companies that became dragons: Samsung, Amazon, Google, Apple, and Microsoft.

Through the book, the author presents a methodology to produce top leaders who can contribute to Korea standing tall as a world-class leading nation in the 21st century knowledge information era. In other words, the methodology advocates dragon leadership.

The dragon is the only imaginary animal among the 12 zodiac animals. It flies in the sky, breathes fire, and causes rain and lightning within clouds.

The author argues that the dragon is not just a simple imaginary animal. It emphasizes that the dragon embodies the symbol of integration and power essential to realizing one's dreams and becoming a king. The author became curious about the meaning of the dragon while looking at dragon paintings at Haedong Yonggungsa Temple in Busan and studied the meaning of the dragon for a long time. As a result, the author concludes that the dragon represents the integration and power necessary for leaders. In fact, royal items such as dragon faces, dragon robes, and dragon thrones all contain the character for dragon.

The dragon possesses the strongest and most outstanding traits of all animals in this world and was a being that inspired fear, awe, and mystery in people.

The author emphasizes that in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution and infinite competition, the capabilities of national leaders and corporate CEOs are more important than ever, and what they need is precisely dragon leadership.

The dragon leadership described by the author is as follows: understanding changes in external and internal environments according to the times, possessing judgment to read the moment, being armed with a spirit of continuous improvement and innovation, having a clear future vision with dreams and goals, possessing the ability to prepare for and defend against risks, advancing with strong courage combined with patience, challenge, and fighting spirit through focused immersion, uniting with the embracing power to include surrounding people, and actively promoting and achieving goals based on strong economic power accumulated through preparedness.

The book explains what dragon leadership is and why it is needed in the 21st century by presenting examples of historical figures and companies that demonstrated dragon leadership.
