Yuseonghun, Geumcheon-gu Mayor, Conducts Mask-Wearing Mandatory Promotion Campaign for Public Transport Use at 4 Major Local Points on June 1 at 7:30 AM
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) will conduct a 'Cotton Mask Ten Thousand Unmanned Sharing' campaign at four major local points starting from 7:30 a.m. on June 1.
This campaign aims to promote the mandatory wearing of masks on public transportation, which has been enforced since the 26th, and will be held simultaneously at ▲ Beomil Transport Terminal ▲ Geumcheon Post Office Intersection ▲ Court Complex ▲ Jeonghun Complex bus stops.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19, unmanned mask distribution stands will be installed so that commuters and others in need can freely take cotton masks on their way to work.
Additionally, a non-contact (online, SNS, messenger) promotional campaign will be conducted using the Dongja Volunteer Camp.
Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, said, “I hope all Geumcheon-gu residents wear masks when using public transportation to prevent the spread of COVID-19,” and added, “If everyone shows consideration for each other and unites with one heart during these difficult times, the COVID-19 situation can end sooner than expected.”
