According to the police, the accident occurred at around 3:03 PM when the bus rear-ended a passenger car that was stopped due to traffic congestion in the area. The bus then collided with the central divider due to the impact and subsequently hit another passenger car, causing a chain collision involving six vehicles.
As a result of the accident, the bus driver, Mr. A (64), died. Additionally, five bus passengers and several passenger car drivers, totaling ten people, were injured and are receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident based on witness statements and other evidence.
