[New Release] 'Not Knowing Your Name Is a Blessing' and More

◆Not Knowing Your Name Is a Blessing = A poetry collection that embodies the barrenness and tragedy of life. It relies on the immediacy of experience. In that it is a world closely connected to the body and senses, it holds meaning beyond empiricism. It draws poetic sensibility and emotion from the natural responses of a body faithful to life. The language is rough and the form unstable. The self oscillates between self-deprecation and humor. This is evidence that the poetic words break away from the notion and prejudice of what is considered ‘poetic’ by the establishment. (Written by Yoo Hong-jun / Siin-dongnae)

◆When Thinking About Old Things = Contains ninety-eight poems filled with skepticism and nihilism about life. It simultaneously reveals serious poetic reflection and metaphysical thought illuminated by infinite imagination. With keen insight and dense language, it explores the mysteries of life and investigates the origins of existence. The poetic ideas that break conventions and the uniquely individual style are well expressed. “In this time crossing from the past season to the next, who is writing poetry?” (Written by Go Hyeong-ryeol / Changbi)

◆The World Met in the Garden = When the pure white winter passes, the light green spring arrives. Children play new games. They set up wonderful tents between trees, cook food in a makeshift kitchen, and enjoy the budding new spring. Their lively movements bring vitality to nature. It is a beauty that radiates as they become one with the children. It is expressed only through pictures without words. There is no correct answer in the story. The changes in the protagonist and background invite imagination of nature’s message. (Written and illustrated by Irene Penazzi / Jaeneung Education)
