[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Sharon] The COVID-19 Overcoming Traveling Concert will be held at 6 p.m. on June 1st at Jinju City Hall Plaza, announced on the 29th.
The traveling balcony concert has been held weekly since May 2nd at Mangyeong-dong Hanbo Apartment, Myeongseok-myeon Dongshin Apartment, Sangpyeong-dong Dongil Suite, and Chojeon Park, receiving enthusiastic responses from local residents to comfort medical staff sweating on the front lines of COVID-19 and exhausted citizens. This will be the fifth event.
This concert is jointly hosted and organized by the 'Former Jinju Station Railroad Site Regeneration Project Promotion Committee' and the 'Bollae-ro Cultural Street Operating Committee.'
In particular, this event will feature the traditional Korean music sisters 'Sogong,' accordion performance by Lee Seoyeon, a student of Jinju Dong Middle School who won the silver prize in the practical section of the Gaecheon Arts Festival music competition, as well as participation by Deulsum Ensemble's representative Lee Jinhee and member Park Minseong, and the Bollae-ro Band (Park Sunhwa and two others), offering beautiful voices and melodies to the citizens.
