On the 28th, T&R Biofab announced that it signed an exclusive domestic distribution contract for the contactless digital thermometer 'THERMOCARE' with Dongwon Healthcare, an affiliate of Dongwon Pharmaceutical.
Dongwon Healthcare is a pharmaceutical distribution company based on its own logistics system and domestic distribution network. Through this contract, it will be in charge of the exclusive distribution and sales of THERMOCARE to domestic pharmacies.
T&R Biofab's THERMOCARE is a contactless digital thermometer that can measure body temperature within one second without physical contact. It is equipped with Bluetooth functionality, allowing measurement data to be instantly linked to a management application. One of its features is the effective management of important information such as measurement time and health status. A T&R Biofab official explained, "Through this, it is possible to continuously monitor the fever status of members in group facilities such as schools and military bases, or by region and institution," adding, "It is suitable for preventing the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and for efficient health management."
Yoon Wonsu, CEO of T&R Biofab, said, "THERMOCARE is a useful product not only for the initial diagnosis of COVID-19 but also for continuous monitoring and health management," and added, "We expect it to contribute to effective quarantine work by regions, institutions, and medical personnel."
