Perspective view of 'Acro Seoul Forest,' the first complex to apply 'voice recognition smart home' technology.
[Asia Economy Reporter Onyu Lim] The results of the non-designated subscription for Acro Seoul Forest in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, which recorded a competition rate of '260,000 to 3,' have been announced.
Daelim Industrial selected the winners of the Acro Seoul Forest non-designated subscription through a YouTube live broadcast on the 28th. The selection was made by drawing registration numbers.
For the 97㎡ unit (exclusive area), which attracted the most intense competition with 210,585 applicants, registration number 228452 was selected. Numbers 129133 and 53492 were drawn for the 198㎡ and 159㎡ units, respectively. Daelim Industrial also selected 10 backup winners for each housing type.
Although the draw is over, whether the winners will proceed with the contracts is also a matter of interest. The deadline for paying the deposit is tighter than ever. Winners must pay 10% of the sale price by the 29th to proceed with the contract. Considering that the sale prices for Acro Seoul Forest are 1.741 billion KRW for 97㎡B, 3.042 billion KRW for 159㎡A, and 3.758 billion KRW for 198㎡, they need to secure between 174.1 million and 375.8 million KRW within a day.
Daelim Industrial plans to contact the winners individually and guide them through the contract procedures. The list of winners, backup winners, and required documents can be checked on Acro Life.
The record-breaking competition rate for Acro Seoul Forest subscriptions stemmed from a 'lottery mentality' expecting several hundred million KRW in capital gains. Considering that the recent sale price of the 84㎡ Trimage, which was completed in 2017 right next door, is between 2.3 billion and 2.9 billion KRW, it is calculated that at least 600 million KRW in profit can be made. Anyone aged 19 or older living in the metropolitan area could apply, leading to a large influx not only of cash-rich individuals but also those who practically lack the capacity to pay the sale price.
