[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun) is actively adopting an administrative system suited to the untact era, such as holding a disaster safety countermeasure meeting chaired by the district mayor via video conference on the 28th.
About 100 people, including District Mayor Jeong Soon-gyun, district executives, and employees from 22 community service centers, discussed COVID-19 response situations and support policies using the ‘Onnara Ieum PC Video Conference System’ provided by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety from their respective offices.
Additionally, to explore policy directions for the ‘untact era’ and strengthen employee capabilities, on the same day at 4 p.m., the district invited Kim Yong-seop, author of ‘Untact (The New Era Evolution Code for More Connections)’ and director of the Sharp Imagination Research Institute, to give a lecture on ‘The Comprehensive Impact of Untact.’
Earlier, on the 27th, the district held the first report meeting of the ‘Post-Corona Task Force (TF)’ via video conference, focusing on policies for a ‘non-face-to-face service platform,’ including ▲ online processing of various civil complaints such as applications, registrations, and issuance ▲ expansion of unmanned civil service issuance machines ▲ real-time video meetings and employee training.
Jeong Soon-gyun, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, said, “We will expand video conferencing, a sustainable meeting method in the post-corona era,” adding, “We will lead the post-corona era by promoting work with non-face-to-face measures in all areas of district administration.”
