Jeonbuk Province, Emergency Disaster Relief Fund Application 'Deadline June 5'

Jeonbuk Province, Emergency Disaster Relief Fund Application 'Deadline June 5' Jeonbuk Provincial Government Office

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Gominhyeong] The application for credit and debit card recharge of the government emergency disaster relief fund will close on the 5th of next month.

On the 28th, Jeonbuk Province announced that households wishing to receive the payment via credit or debit card recharge must apply online through the card company's website (web/app) or visit a bank branch affiliated with the card company by the 5th of next month.

In particular, households that have moved into the province from other metropolitan autonomous districts after March 29 or are planning to move must apply for credit/debit card recharge before June 5 and subsequently change their usage area.

In case of mistakenly selecting donation and wishing to correct the donation amount, the correction must also be requested to the respective card company by the same date.

Applications can now be made at bank branches by the head of the household at any time regardless of the day of the week. This is because the weekday system for credit/debit card recharge applications at bank branches, which was initially applied, has been lifted.

This measure was considered due to the fact that as of 6 p.m. on the 27th, 759,000 households had completed their emergency disaster relief fund applications, indicating that future demand is not high, and for the convenience of residents.

Since about 93% of all eligible households completed their applications within three weeks of the emergency disaster relief fund application opening, the remaining households will also be promptly accepted and paid.

However, even after the credit/debit card recharge application deadline on the 5th of next month, applications for prepaid cards and local love gift certificates through eup/myeon/dong community service centers will continue.

For applications at eup/myeon/dong community service center counters, whether the weekday system continues may vary depending on the conditions of each city or county, so it is necessary to check information in advance before visiting.

Gu Hyeongbo, Director of the Welfare, Women and Health Bureau, said, “The emergency disaster relief fund must be used by August 31, and any unused balance will be forfeited, so please consume the full amount within the deadline to revitalize the local economy.”
