[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Go Dallyeong] Mujinjang Fire Station (Chief Park Deokgyu) safely rescued a person in distress who had fallen into the water under Yongdam Bridge in Wolgye-ri, Yongdam-myeon, Jinan-gun at 7:11 a.m. on the 28th.

According to the fire station, a passerby who was passing the above location discovered a person struggling on the water surface under Yongdam Bridge in Wolgye-ri, Yongdam-myeon, Jinan-gun, and reported it to 119.

Mujinjang Fire Station dispatched three vehicles (Jinan Rescue Team, Jinan Pump, Ancheon Ambulance) and about 10 personnel promptly to the scene.

The Jinan Rescue Team, along with Mr. Hanㅇㅇ, who was passing the accident site, two employees from Yongdam-myeon Office including Mr. Baeㅇㅇ, and one other person, used a nearby resident's boat to collaborate and safely rescued Mr. Choi Kyungㅇ (male, 41 years old), who was then transported to Jeonbuk National University Hospital by the Ancheon Ambulance.

The rescue team members who responded to the scene expressed their gratitude, saying, "In the urgent situation of struggling in the water, thanks to the quick report to 119 and the cooperation of Mr. Hanㅇㅇ and others nearby, we were able to safely carry out the rescue."
