Jo Yoon-hee's agency King Kong by Starship released an official statement on the 28th, stating, "Jo Yoon-hee finalized her divorce from Lee Dong-gun through mediation at the Seoul Family Court on the 22nd."
They added, "We ask for your understanding in delivering this sudden news to those who have celebrated and supported their marriage," and "Jo Yoon-hee will continue to strive to greet you with good activities in the future."
Jo Yoon-hee and Lee Dong-gun developed their relationship into a romance after working together on the KBS2 drama 'The Gentlemen of Wolgyesu Tailor Shop,' which began airing in 2016.
They registered their marriage in May 2017 and held a private wedding ceremony in September. They welcomed a daughter in December of the same year.
