[Asia Economy Online Issue Team] 'Woman Sense' has released a pictorial and interview with trot singer Yoyomi.

Yoyomi, who debuted in 2018, gained attention by appearing on TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot' and KBS1's 'Morning Yard.' Unlike 'Morning Yard,' where she attracted interest alongside Yoonsan-seul, she was completely edited out of 'Miss Trot.' Reflecting on her participation in 'Miss Trot,' she said, "Thanks to that, I realized how much I lacked. If I had received great attention then, I might have become arrogant."

Known as a 'nickname-rich' artist, she holds titles such as 'Expressway IU,' 'President of Middle-aged People,' and 'Happy Virus,' as well as the epithet 'The Second Hye-eun Lee.' Yoyomi said, "I actually fell in love with trot after listening to senior Hye-eun Lee's songs, and I enjoy singing her songs the most." She added, "Although I haven't met her yet, just imagining meeting her makes my heart flutter. I plan to hone my skills so as not to disgrace her name."

She also named Hye-eun Lee's 'The Third Hangang Bridge' as her 'signature song,' saying, "I've sung it countless times. Since I was young, instead of children's songs, I sang 'The Third Hangang Bridge,' which amazed those around me."

She also spoke about this year's hottest show, 'Mr. Trot.' When asked about the contestant she paid the most attention to, she named "Lee Chan-won," explaining, "I felt his pure heart and genuine love for trot. I supported him because he has not only talent but also good entertainment skills."
