Simmons (CEO An Jung-ho) announced the opening of the ‘Simmons Gallery Giheung Branch’ in Giheung-gu, Yongin City. Simmons’ flagship store, ‘Simmons Gallery,’ is a lifestyle showroom that attempts differentiated spatial communication by region.

The Simmons Gallery Giheung Branch is located within the Living Power Center, a home furnishing specialty life mall recognized as a Korean-style one-stop shopping center. Various lifestyle convenience facilities such as IKEA and Lotte Premium Outlet are densely clustered nearby, expected to attract a high influx of customers. Additionally, situated just a 3-minute drive from Giheung IC, it is anticipated to draw a diverse range of customers including residents from nearby areas such as Dongtan, Singal, Yeongtong, Osan, Suji, as well as prospective newlyweds.

The store, consisting of two basement floors (B1 and B2), features on the B1 floor a rolling tester used for mattress durability testing from the ‘Factoryum’ sleep research R&D center located in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do, where Simmons Korea’s mattresses are produced. The ‘Mattress Lab’ allows customers to experience various firmness levels of mattresses applying Simmons’ unique pocket spring technology. Alongside the ‘Heritage Alley’ space where the 150-year history of the Simmons brand can be viewed at a glance, the store offers a brand experiential space where customers can see and touch the internal materials of mattresses, including a dismantled mattress of ‘Kelly,’ the top model of Beautyrest Black. This space allows visitors to experience Simmons’ mattress technology, know-how, and brand history. Additionally, various products are displayed, including Simmons Korea’s top mattress collection ‘Beautyrest Black,’ the 150th anniversary limited edition mattress ‘Beautyrest 1870,’ and two frame types (1870 Classic Edition and 1870 Retro Edition), enabling customers to experience Simmons’ unique ‘total bedroom look.’

The B2 floor features terrazzo tiles that create a sophisticated atmosphere starting from the stairs. Using a deep green color as a point to give a luxurious yet calm feeling, it presents an elegance reminiscent of a penthouse, contrasting with the atmosphere of B1. The ‘Technical Zone’ is also set up here, where customers can learn about Simmons’ unique mattress design expertise. They can experience the ‘Zoning system,’ which combines and arranges pocket springs with different elasticity, support, and shapes, and the ‘Layering technology,’ which combines over 50 types of premium internal materials on top of the pocket springs.

Meanwhile, to commemorate the opening of Simmons Gallery Giheung Branch, Simmons Bed is offering gifts on a first-come, first-served basis for purchases above a certain amount at the store. Also, in response to this year’s early arrival of hot weather, the ‘Cool Summer Night’ promotion is underway to provide consumers with a comfortable sleeping environment even on hot summer nights. Customers purchasing mattresses of specific sizes receive a 5% discount, and those purchasing both mattress and bed frame together get an additional 5% discount on the mattress.
