[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Min Jun-young] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon criticized the public opinion poll results on the resignation of Yoon Mi-hyang, the elected member of the Democratic Party of Korea, saying, "As much as 70% of the people of the Republic of Korea are native Japanese collaborators?"
On the 28th, former professor Jin shared the poll results titled "7 out of 10 people believe Yoon Mi-hyang, the elected member of the Democratic Party of Korea, should resign" on his Facebook and made this comment.
He said, "I am worried about the country again today. Realmeter released shocking poll results," adding, "What should we do? Should we take up bamboo spears?"
Earlier, Realmeter announced the results of a public opinion poll on the 27th regarding the future position of elected member Yoon, commissioned by OhmyNews, stating that "70.4% of the people believe she should resign."
According to the survey, 70.4% responded that she should resign, while only 20.4% said there was no need to resign. "Don't know well" accounted for 9.2%.
This survey was conducted on the 26th with 500 adult men and women nationwide aged 18 and over (total calls 9,157, response rate 5.5%).
It was conducted using a mixed method of wireless (80%) and wired (20%) automated response system (ARS). The survey was carried out by randomly dialing phone numbers generated through a random sampling frame, and statistical adjustments were made by applying weights according to gender, age group, and region based on the resident registration population statistics from the Ministry of the Interior and Safety as of the end of April this year. The sampling error is ±4.4 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.
