Kim Sun-kyung: "'The World of the Married' Lee Tae-oh, If He Were Really My Son, I Would Be Mad at Him"

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Seul-gi] Actress Kim Sun-kyung shared behind-the-scenes stories from the recently concluded JTBC drama 'The World of the Married.'

On the morning of the 28th, Kim Sun-kyung appeared as a guest on SBS PowerFM's 'Kim Young-chul's PowerFM' (Cheolpaem).

During the broadcast, Kim Sun-kyung said, "If Lee Tae-oh (played by Park Hae-joon) from 'The World of the Married' were actually my son, I would have been done for. Love is not a crime for anyone. But if you hurt someone, that becomes a crime." She added, "Why turn such a beautiful heart into a crime?"

Regarding the ending hinting that Ji Sun-woo's (played by Kim Hee-ae) son Lee Joon-young (played by Jeon Jin-seo) ran away and then returned, she speculated, "I think Joon-young came back. He is well-educated and was not someone who went astray from the beginning."

That day, Kim Sun-kyung also shared behind-the-scenes stories from the filming of 'The World of the Married.'

When DJ Kim Young-chul asked, "Do you think this is your life character?" she replied, "We had a wrap party for the last episode at the JTBC studio where all the actors watched it on a big screen. I thought, how could this role be so light and brainless?"

She continued, "I have a brain. I am serious. This is me," but also explained, "Actually, there are many similarities between me and the character. I tend to be bright, but I did research on the role. You have to make a strong impact in a short time. In the movie 'Sunny,' I only appeared in a few scenes, so I wondered how to show myself well. This time too, I thought about how to perform well and ended up making a nasal sound."

She added, "'Eomeona' (Oh my!) was not in the script. I improvised it. The script said 'Oh my, Teacher Ji.' Fortunately, the viewers loved it a lot," she said.

Meanwhile, Kim Sun-kyung played the role of Yeo Byung-gyu's (played by Lee Kyung-yeok) wife and Yeo Da-kyung's (played by Han So-hee) mother in 'The World of the Married.'
