Emart24 Installs Socar Zones at 46 Stores Nationwide

[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Emart24 is collaborating with car-sharing company Socar to establish Socar zones at 46 stores nationwide.

Emart24 announced on the 28th that it signed a "Strategic Business Agreement (MOU) for Activating Emart24-Socar Car Sharing" at Socar's Seongsu office at 4 p.m. on the 27th.

Going forward, Emart24 and Socar will install Socar zones at 46 Emart24 stores nationwide and collaborate on marketing to promote car sharing.

By installing Socar zones at Emart24 stores, Socar users are more likely to become regular customers of Emart24. Socar will be able to enhance customer convenience by securing new Socar zones.

Emart24 selected 46 stores through on-site inspections to ensure Socar parking is possible while wanting to operate Socar zones, and plans to continuously expand. Additionally, various promotions for customers using Socar zones will be implemented.

Emart24 Marketing Director Ahn Hye-seon said, "By partnering with Socar and signing a business agreement to activate car sharing, we can improve convenience for customers of both companies," adding, "Emart24 is doing its best to evolve into a diverse daily life platform through its nationwide stores."

Socar Business Director Park Jin-hee stated, "We expect to enhance customer convenience and accessibility by attracting Socar zones to convenience stores, which are the closest point of consumption," and added, "We will continue to expand offline touchpoints and infrastructure so that customers can use car-sharing services conveniently and at reasonable costs."
