"Ediya Coffee Launches Dalgona Latte to Save You the Effort of Stirring 400 Times"


[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Ediya Coffee recently launched two types of Dalgona drinks, which have gained great popularity among consumers, on the 28th.


Dalgona drinks became a trend as home cafe enthusiasts, spending more time at home due to social distancing caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), started making them themselves. The drink requires the effort of stirring coffee, sugar, and water more than 400 times until it becomes creamy.


Ediya Coffee released two types that can be easily enjoyed at stores without much effort: ‘Dalgona Latte’ and ‘Dalgona Milk Tea.’ Both products use a crispy and sweet topping made by crushing real dalgona and a special base syrup that can bring out the dalgona flavor without adding coffee. These new dalgona products belong to the non-coffee category, containing no espresso, so they have low caffeine content and can be enjoyed by people of all ages without burden.


The Dalgona Latte is a drink where the sweet dalgona and savory milk harmonize well, perfectly capturing the unique taste of dalgona. The Dalgona Milk Tea is a drink where dalgona and the luxurious aroma of Earl Grey blend harmoniously, characterized by its sweet taste and rich flavor. The prices are 3,500 won for the Dalgona Latte and 3,800 won for the Dalgona Milk Tea.
