LG Welfare Foundation Donates a 3-Story (Total Area 500㎡) Daycare Center in Gangseo-gu

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Noh Hyun-song) presented a plaque of appreciation to the LG Welfare Foundation, which donated the municipal M Valley Keunnamu Daycare Center, at the mayor's office at 11 a.m. on the 27th.


The presentation ceremony was attended by Mayor Noh Hyun-song, LG Welfare Foundation CEO Moon-ho Lee, and other officials.


The Keunnamu Daycare Center was built by the LG Welfare Foundation with an investment of 1.6 billion KRW. It has a total floor area of 500㎡ and three above-ground floors, capable of caring for 70 children.


Mayor Noh Hyun-song said, "I deeply thank the LG Welfare Foundation for building and donating a daycare center where young children can freely pursue their dreams," adding, "We will do our best to operate it as a childcare facility that parents can trust by improving the quality of early childhood care."


Since 2007, the LG Welfare Foundation has been building daycare centers and donating them to local governments with the aim of addressing low birth rates and reducing childcare burdens on women.
