[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Su-wan] Former Dongyang University professor Jin Joong-kwon apologized on the 27th for comparing broadcaster Kim Eo-jun, who raised a 'behind-the-scenes theory' at Grandma Lee Yong-soo's press conference, to a 'drug-sniffing dog,' saying "I'm sorry."

On the same day, Jin posted on his Facebook, "I have been flooded with criticism for insulting drug-sniffing dogs. The analogy was inappropriate," he said.

He continued, "Detection dogs help us with their excellent sense of smell," adding, "On the other hand, Kim Eo-jun does not have such a keen sense of smell. The scent he detects is actually the smell coming from his own body," mocking him.

He added, "Since his very existence is a conspiracy theory, there is inevitably a smell of conspiracy coming from him."

Earlier, Jin had referred to Kim, who raised conspiracy theories about Grandma Lee's press conference statement, as a "walking conspiracy theory," saying, "'There is a smell' (he says), since he likes smells, it would be great if he quit broadcasting and worked as a drug-sniffing dog at Incheon Airport."

Kim, on the morning of the previous day (26th), raised a behind-the-scenes theory about Grandma Lee on his radio show "Kim Eo-jun's News Factory."

He pointed to Choi Yong-sang, leader of the Gaja Human Rights and Peace Party, as the mastermind, saying, "If you read the press statement, it is clear that Grandma Lee Yong-soo did not write it. The words reveal the involvement of civic groups leading the organization."

He also raised suspicions, saying, "Grandma said something very unexpected, and from there, someone's intention is reflected," and "Someone seems to have given distorted information and said such things beside her."
