New Game Job Entrants Called 'Game Changer 1st Class'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-gyu Lee] NHN is publicly recruiting new employees in the game sector, including game development and planning.
On the 27th, NHN announced that it will recruit dozens of new employees in three areas?development, design (UI·original art), and planning?until June 8.
This new game job recruitment is called 'Game Changer 1st generation.' Just as the brand 'TOAST Rookie' has been used annually for recruiting new developers in the second half of the year, NHN plans to regularize new employee recruitment in the game sector going forward.
Applications will be accepted on the NHN recruitment website until June 8. Only those who pass the document screening will proceed to pre-assignment tasks (planning·design) and an online pre-test (development). Those who pass this process will be selected as final successful candidates through the first interview, 'T Interview,' and the second interview, 'C Interview,' and will officially join the company at the end of July.
NHN, along with game sector development subsidiaries NHN Bigfoot, NHN PixelCube, and NHN Starfish, will participate. The final corporation and department for employment will be confirmed based on the candidate's preference and interview results.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all interviews are being considered for video conferencing. As social distancing continues, an online recruitment briefing using YouTube has also been introduced. From June 1 to 3, at 7 PM for one hour, candidates can receive tips for passing and various company information through live channels by job category.
Lee Seung-chan, Director of NHN Human Resources and General Affairs Support Office, said, "With the global spread of COVID-19, the culture of non-face-to-face (untact) communication and technological development will accelerate further. We fully understand the importance and role of games in the untact field and plan to continue recruiting new employees in the game sector annually."
