The donation ceremony was held with the attendance of 15 people, including Kim Soon-ho, the governor of Gurye-gun, and Kim Tae-on, CEO of Cheongam Landscaping.
Kim Tae-on, CEO of Cheongam Landscaping, said, "I made this donation to add some strength to the pain the residents are experiencing due to COVID-19."
Governor Kim Soon-ho stated, "Despite the difficult economic situation, I sincerely thank the CEO of Cheongam Landscaping for taking the lead in sharing with neighbors in need. We will do our best to protect a clean Gurye."
The 100 bags of white rice donated by Cheongam Landscaping will be delivered to low-income families in need through a designated donation project by the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea.
