At the delivery ceremony, Shin Yuno, Head of Korea South-East Power Co., Ltd. Yeosu Power Plant Headquarters, Jeon Pungja, Director of Yeosu Citizen Regional Self-Support Center, and Oh Sehyun, Manager of Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, attended together.
The 20 million won donation will be used as vehicle purchase funds for the business trip cleaning support project "Cleaning Master," as part of a project to create jobs for socially vulnerable groups at the Yeosu Citizen Regional Self-Support Center.
Shin Yuno, Head of Korea South-East Power Co., Ltd. Yeosu Power Plant Headquarters, said, "I hope that the vehicle purchased with the donated funds will deliver welfare services to every corner of the welfare blind spots in the district," and added, "Moreover, I will pay attention and make efforts so that continuous social contribution can be made at the corporate level, especially in difficult times."
Meanwhile, Korea South-East Power has been continuously practicing social contributions for neighbors in need, such as the "Hope Meal Car and Medical Volunteer Service" for local elderly living alone, "Support for Migrant Women's Visits to Their Hometowns" for multicultural families, "Love Fence Project" and "Scholarship Support" to nurture future dream trees, and a 20 million won donation for warm homes for low-income families during cold winters. In 2017, it was also awarded a commendation from the Governor of Jeonnam Province in recognition of its contribution to community service.
