Gyeongbok University and Suwon Veterans Nursing Hospital Sign Mutual Cooperation Agreement


[Asia Economy (Namyangju) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Kyungbok University has signed a business agreement with Suwon Veterans Nursing Hospital.


Kyungbok University announced on the 26th that it signed a business agreement for mutual cooperation with Suwon Veterans Nursing Hospital, under the Korea Veterans Welfare and Medical Service, at the Namyangju campus on the 25th.


The agreement was promoted with the goal of contributing to the local community and national development as partners in the 21st-century knowledge information era through mutual cooperation.


The main contents of the agreement include ▲ lectures in related fields, joint research, and exchange of technical information ▲ providing opportunities such as participation in employment support programs, field training, and volunteering ▲ cooperation through mutual exchange of human and material resources.


Suwon Veterans Nursing Hospital is a facility under the Korea Veterans Welfare and Medical Service, established in July 2008 in accordance with the enforcement of the Long-Term Care Insurance Act for the Elderly, to provide long-term care for national merit recipients and their families who have difficulty being cared for at home due to senile diseases such as dementia and stroke, in line with government veterans policies.


Jang Moon-hak, Vice President for Industry-Academia Cooperation at Kyungbok University, said, "I hope this mutual cooperation between the two institutions will contribute to the development of the local community and become an opportunity for a win-win," and emphasized, "Let us strive to contribute to youth job creation based on mutual trust in the future."
