8 Additional Confirmed Cases Presumed Related to Seongdong #23~26 Confirmed Cases on 24th and 25th

[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 26th, 8 COVID-19 confirmed cases occurred in bulk in Seongdong-gu (District Mayor Jung Won-oh).

Seongdong-gu announced that 8 additional confirmed cases, presumed to be related to Seongdong#23~26 confirmed cases diagnosed on the 24th and 25th, have occurred.

For prompt disclosure, the status of confirmed cases and the business locations presumed to be the infection routes of the confirmed cases are being shared, and those who visited the said business locations are advised to get tested for COVID-19 at the Seongdong-gu Public Health Center.

Additionally, it is informed that those who visited the confirmed cases’ locations at the same time can also get tested for COVID-19.

Detailed movement routes for each confirmed case are currently being investigated by the on-site epidemiological investigation team through interviews and site verification. They stated that the information will be disclosed immediately once additional details are confirmed.

The status of confirmed cases and infection routes are as follows.

A total of 8 confirmed cases visited the Seongdong-gu Public Health Center on the 25th for COVID-19 testing and were confirmed positive on the morning of the 26th. Rapid measures such as transferring confirmed patients to isolation hospitals, disinfecting their homes and shared residential areas, and posting notices are being implemented, and contacts are being immediately placed under self-quarantine as soon as identified.
