[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Suwan] A study has found that patients infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) lose their infectivity 11 days after symptom onset.
The research team at Singapore's National Center for Infectious Diseases (NCID) announced findings that COVID-19 patients, even if testing positive on a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test after 11 days, are no longer able to infect others, the British Daily Mail online edition reported on the 25th.
