Applications Accepted from the 27th to the 12th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Samho) announced on the 25th that it will recruit 'Saengsaeng (生生) Alley Tong Creators' who will promote every corner of Gwangsan-gu's alley markets with fun and unique videos from the 27th of this month to the 12th of next month.
This recruitment of creators by Gwangsan-gu was promoted with the aim of revitalizing the alley markets, which have been stagnant due to COVID-19, by reflecting the consumption trends of the so-called 'Generation Z,' a digital generation, and celebrity marketing based on social media.
The selected creators will produce two promotional video contents by covering and introducing various alley markets in Gwangsan-gu and delivering vivid user reviews in a unique way.
The created video content will be used for large-scale promotion of the alley markets.
Anyone who plans, shoots, edits video content, and operates SNS can participate in the contest.
Applications are possible individually or in teams of up to five people. Applicants need to submit an application form and a video content production plan.
The selection of creators will comprehensively consider SNS operation status, content production ability, and willingness to participate, and Gwangsan-gu will provide a certain activity fee during the activities.
Detailed information about the creator recruitment is provided by the Gwangsan-gu Alley Market Revitalization Team.
Kim Samho, Mayor of Gwangsan-gu, said, "I hope many creators with talent and skills will participate and widely promote Gwangsan-gu's alley markets with creative content."
