Gyeonggi Office of Education Partners with NH Nonghyup Bank for Specialized Financial and Economic Education

[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education is partnering with NH Nonghyup Bank to provide specialized financial and economic education.

On the 25th, Gyeonggi Office of Education announced that Superintendent Lee Jae-jung and Jeong Yong-wang, Head of NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeonggi Business Headquarters, along with 10 other officials, signed a business agreement to support the activation of the 'Gyeonggi Dream School' with NH Nonghyup Bank Gyeonggi Business Headquarters.

According to the agreement, the two organizations will establish a mutual cooperation system necessary for the sustainable operation of the Nonghyup Financing Dream School.

The main contents of the business agreement include ▲ mutual cooperation support for Gyeonggi Dream School in the field of financial and economic education ▲ promotion of financial and economic education activities ▲ formation of an operation council related to curriculum management ▲ utilization of financial programs and provision of financial content.

In particular, the utilization of financial programs and provision of financial content include student-led participatory types, expert lecture types, financial program practice types, and actual branch experience types.

Superintendent Lee said, "I appreciate that the Nonghyup Financing Dream School, which started in 2016, has taken charge of financial and economic education that cannot be learned in schools," and added, "I hope students dream and grow by sharing village resources in their communities."

This year, the Gyeonggi Office of Education plans to open the Nonghyup Financing Dream School in the Yeoju and Dongducheon areas to provide students with specialized financial and economic education.
