The Iksan Police Station in Jeonbuk announced on the 25th that suspect A has been arrested.
Suspect A broke into two jewelry stores located in Iksan City during late-night hours after being released from prison in February of this year, stealing precious metals worth about 130 million KRW.
The suspect targeted jewelry stores with weak security systems and large amounts of precious metals, and it was confirmed that he meticulously planned the crime in advance by conducting reconnaissance to examine entry points and escape routes.
After the incident, the police captured suspect A through analysis of CCTV footage around the scene and investigative inquiries.
