Younger Sister Who Contacted Older Brother Visiting Karaoke in Incheon Also Confirmed Positive (Update)

[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] The younger sister of a high school senior who visited a coin karaoke room visited by a student of an Incheon academy instructor confirmed positive for COVID-19 has also tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

Michuhol-gu, Incheon City, announced on the 24th that A (17), living in Hakik 2-dong, tested positive for COVID-19.

A is reported to be the younger sister of B (19), a high school senior who tested positive after visiting Top Coin Karaoke Room in Michuhol-gu, Incheon City.

Top Coin Karaoke Room was visited by students of C (25), an Incheon academy instructor who was infected after visiting Itaewon King Club and other places earlier this month.

After her older brother tested positive for COVID-19, A underwent specimen testing at a health center screening clinic on the 20th but tested negative and had been self-quarantining.

However, when COVID-19 suspected symptoms appeared on that day, she was retested at the Michuhol-gu health center screening clinic and tested positive.

Previously, B’s mother, younger brother, and father who had contact with him also tested positive for COVID-19.

A is presumed to be the fourth infection case originating from the Incheon academy instructor confirmed positive. With this, the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases related to the Incheon academy instructor who concealed occupation and movement has increased to 51.
