The first second-round stage was between Don Quixote and Temptation of Wife. Don Quixote chose Lee Juck's "Back Then, I Didn't Know," while Temptation of Wife selected Jung In's "Monsoon." Temptation of Wife won this round and advanced to the next stage.

The identity of the defeated Don Quixote was actor Yang Kyungwon, who appeared in 'Crash Landing on You.' Yang Kyungwon shared that Song Joongki, whom he connected with during 'Arthdal Chronicles,' personally came to the waiting room to cheer him on, and he apologized saying, "Sorry, younger brother," after losing. He also expressed hope that the character Pyo Chi-soo, whom he played in 'Crash Landing on You,' would continue to be remembered.
