Choi Dae-ho, mayor of Anyang City, announced on Facebook on the 24th that Mr. A, a man in his 30s from Manan-gu, and Mr. B, a 29-year-old man from Anyang 3-dong, tested positive for COVID-19.
Mr. A visited 'Jakuwa' on the 17th of this month and tested negative in the first test on the 20th, so he was classified as a subject for active monitoring. Mr. A, who began showing symptoms on the 22nd, underwent specimen testing the previous day and was confirmed positive on the day of the announcement.
Mr. B visited the Itaewon restaurant 'Yosul' on the 30th of last month and tested negative in the first test on the 16th, but showed symptoms the previous day, underwent testing, and was confirmed positive.
Anyang City is disinfecting the residences of additional confirmed cases and conducting epidemiological investigations regarding recent movement paths.
