Seoul City Supports Reemployment of Retired Executives Aged 40-60 from Large and Small-Medium Enterprises


[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The Seoul Metropolitan Government is registering retired seniors with professional expertise on an expert matching platform to support their participation in various corporate projects.


The Seoul 50 Plus Foundation and Hunet Talent Bank Co., Ltd. announced on the 24th that they have launched the '50+ Expert Matching Support Project' and will select a total of 100 senior experts in two rounds this year.


For the first selection, recruiting 50 people through the 50+ portal (www.50plus.or.kr) until June 9, any Seoul citizen aged 45 to 60 with experience as a team leader in a large corporation or an executive in a small to medium-sized enterprise can apply.


The eligible job fields include management strategy, sales, human resources, finance, marketing, engineering, IT, design, and legal affairs. Detailed information on qualifications and more can be found on the 50+ portal.


The 100 selected experts will be registered on Hunet Talent Bank’s expert matching platform to be continuously exposed to various companies. Companies will offer interview opportunities to experts suitable for their projects through the platform.


The foundation plans to provide education to the final 100 selected experts on current expert cases and how to work as an expert, aiming to increase the matching of the 50+ generation to corporate projects.


Hunet Talent Bank offers commission discount benefits on the monthly salary received by the 50+ generation after participating in corporate projects.


Kim Young-dae, CEO of the Seoul 50 Plus Foundation, said, "Through this project, we expect to provide various reemployment paths and opportunities to the 50+ generation who want to utilize their accumulated experience and professional expertise," adding, "We will secure professional talents in various fields and expand the job activity areas accessible to the 50+ generation."
