[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Park Hee-eun] Trot singer Lim Young-woong revealed his special connection with the past 'Immortal Songs'.

On the 23rd, KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Songs' aired a 'Song Hae Song Festival Special' in celebration of the gratitude month of May, featuring the six members of 'Mr. Trot'.

On this day, MC Moon Hee-jun introduced the six trot men (Lim Young-woong, Jang Min-ho, Young Tak, Jung Dong-won, Lee Chan-won, Kim Hee-jae), saying, "The six guests here today are full of energy. The atmosphere is bright."

Lim Young-woong, who appeared as a contestant, said, "I was nervous when I received the invitation. I’m happy to be on a program I only watched on TV," and added, "I even lost sleep over it."

He continued, "Actually, I had come as an audience member before," and shared, "I came last year through an acquaintance."

Lim Young-woong recalled, "I wondered when I would be able to stand on that stage. I was a rookie and an unknown singer at the time."

He expressed his excitement, saying, "It’s so happy and thrilling to appear after a year. Even now, I get nervous every time I speak. I’m really excited right now."

The broadcast also revealed footage of Lim Young-woong watching the competition as an audience member in the past.
