At a regular briefing held on the 23rd at the Disease Control Headquarters in Osong, Chungbuk, the quarantine authorities stated, "Regarding pediatric multisystem inflammatory syndrome, we are receiving expert advice to apply the surveillance methods, case definitions, and investigation approaches presented and operated by Europe, the United States, and the World Health Organization domestically," adding, "Once the consultation is completed, we will finalize the domestic surveillance and investigation methods and begin surveillance and investigation next week."
