BTS Suga Releases Second Mixtape 'D-2'

[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kang Juhee] The second mixtape by BTS member Suga has been released.

BTS's agency Big Hit Entertainment announced the mixtape titled 'D-2' under the name 'Agust D' on the 22nd at 6 PM through Apple Music and SoundCloud.

This is Suga's first mixtape release in about four years since 'Agust D' was released in August 2016. As with his previous work, Suga is known to have participated in writing and composing all the tracks on this mixtape.

Through this mixtape, he expressed the emotions he has felt from the beginning of his music career to the present through his music.

The title track is 'Daechwita,' which samples the traditional Korean military music Daechwita, creating a unique atmosphere. The song features Suga's powerful rapping, comparing himself to a 'tiger.'

The music video for 'Daechwita' features Suga wearing hanbok in a palace setting, showcasing a different and distinctive charm from before.

Earlier, Big Hit stirred fans' curiosity by posting a blurry photo with the text 'D-7' on BTS's official SNS on the 17th, hinting at the release of the new song.
