Due to a hormonal disorder, I had been taking medication for nearly four years, but on the advice of my primary doctor, I stopped taking it, and for a while, my health seemed to deteriorate rapidly.

There were times when I collapsed on the street, and several times when my younger sibling, who lived with me, found me after I experienced temporary respiratory arrest following hyperventilation while sleeping and called 119.

Fortunately, I safely overcame all those dangerous moments.

Personally, I have gone through difficult times, but I accept them as lessons to become a deeper and more mature person, and I live each day with positive energy.

Autoimmune diseases might be a lifelong battle with myself that I have to keep fighting.

Moments when I thought I was okay but then another part of me hurt or strange symptoms appeared come to mind.

I believe that accepting 'this version of me' without turning away is the first step in practicing self-love.

Today, I want to encourage fellow patients who are fighting themselves with painful bodies and lonely hearts to stay strong.

I am always cheering for you. We are not alone; we are together.
