On the same day, Ryu posted on his Facebook, "You should look in the mirror and practice wall meditation (placing your face against the wall to cultivate the Way) since you might have to pay damages for your careless words," he said.
Earlier, Hong criticized the United Future Party through his Facebook, saying, "Given the current reality facing South Korea, I wonder if this is the time to leisurely seek dignity."
He added, "From my position, having no choice but to step into the rough wilderness again, I must adopt practical measures that can win the people's hearts rather than focusing on the opposition party's dignity," and continued, "However, I also have to consider the feelings of those who emphasize dignity, so these days are truly difficult."
