Citizens Take the Lead to Create Suncheon Bueupseong Content

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon City announced that it will hold the "Suncheon Bueupseong Content Discovery Citizen Group Performance Sharing Meeting," where citizens directly design content, at 4 p.m. on May 21 in the city hall's main conference room.

This performance sharing meeting is an event prepared to share the various opinions and discovered ideas collected from citizens for the discovery of Suncheon Bueupseong content and to raise citizens' interest ahead of the scheduled opening in the first half of 2021.

Since February, the "Content Discovery Citizen Group," consisting of 52 members including citizens, experts, and public officials, has played a role in linking the old downtown where Suncheon Bueupseong is located with urban regeneration areas, gathering and deliberating community opinions to prepare multifaceted content.

At this event, citizens who participated in the citizen group will present the content they directly planned, consider new names reflecting the historicity and symbolism of Suncheon Bueupseong, and share their impressions of the activities so far.

Meanwhile, Suncheon City plans to reflect the content discovered by the citizen group, gathered through the participation of various stakeholders such as citizens, experts, and public officials, in the operation and management plan of Suncheon Bueupseong.
