Yongin Mayor Baek Goon-gi Visits Yeokbuk Yongin High School to Encourage Students Going to School

[Asia Economy (Yongin) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] On the 20th, Baek Gun-gi, mayor of Yongin City, visited Yongin High School in Yeokbuk-dong, Cheoin-gu, to encourage third-year high school students attending school and to check the quarantine situation.

Students who attended school for the first time after finishing online classes underwent temperature checks at the entrance and entered the building after wearing masks.

After checking the students' attendance situation, Mayor Baek inspected the quarantine status of the cafeteria and classrooms and examined the stock of school quarantine supplies.

Later, he held a meeting with officials from the Yongin Office of Education, school operation committee members, and school officials to discuss improvements related to school quarantine support.

Mayor Baek said, "We will do our best to support quarantine measures so that not a single student is exposed to COVID-19," and urged, "We ask schools to pay close attention so that students can thoroughly follow daily quarantine rules."
