Thorough Quarantine Measures Including 30% Dispersed Opening of Reading Rooms
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Geon-ju] Jeonbuk National University announced on the 19th that it will reopen the Central Library, which had been closed due to COVID-19.
According to a library official at Jeonbuk National University, the Central Library and its branch facilities will be open to university members and local residents until further notice.
Operating hours are weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. All reading rooms and open study areas will be accessible, except for individual and group study rooms, multi-purpose rooms, and the learning library.
Additionally, to comply with quarantine guidelines, only 30% of the reading rooms will be open at a time, and wearing a mask is mandatory upon entry. Furthermore, only personal mobile phones can be used for book searches and seat reservations.
