[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Korea Maritime and Ocean University announced on the 19th that it signed a business agreement with the Busan Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Institute to foster talent and revitalize lifelong education in the university headquarters policy meeting room.


Korea Maritime and Ocean University and Busan Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Institute will cooperate to foster outstanding talent in the Busan area, activate lifelong education for adult learners, and contribute to the coexistence and development of the local community.


Go Young-sam, director of Busan Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Institute, said, "We will seek ways to coexist with Korea Maritime and Ocean University, which plays an important role in the maritime field."


President Do Deok-hee said, "Korea Maritime and Ocean University is a maritime hub university well equipped with various infrastructures related to the maritime industry, such as marine leisure sports and maritime convergence artificial intelligence," and emphasized, "It will be able to provide a foundation for Busan to become a specialized city for talent development and lifelong education in the maritime field."
