[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Lim Juhyung] On Channel A's broadcast program 'Heard It Through the Grapevine' (Pungmun Show), a tip about the current status of singer Jung Joon-young, who was sentenced to prison in the second trial for charges including participation in group sexual assault, was introduced.

On the broadcast of 'Pungmun Show' on the 18th, an entertainment reporter appeared and said, "I received a tip from someone who was in detention with Jung Joon-young," adding, "That person said, 'Jung Joon-young probably really wants to get out into society right now.'"

He continued, "There are many unspecified detainees waiting for their sentences inside the detention center," and explained, "But inside, there is a stage where they identify each other's identities by asking, 'What charges are you here for?', 'What kind of work did you do in society?', 'How old are you?'"

He added, "In Jung Joon-young's case, anyone can tell it's him. The detainees know his profession as a singer," and "There are reports that sometimes mischievous people say, 'Get up and sing a song,' and Jung Joon-young stands up and sings."
